Which sentence is correct: will no longer be needed or will be no longer needed a) Gasoline will no longer be needed as new energy options will be available. b) Gasoline will be no longer needed as new energy options will be available.

'Will be no longer' is the more correct one I feel. But at the same time, I believe the first variant you suggested is also fine to use. In fact, I think it may be more popular out the two.
